When laying the artificial turf to the edge, leave a 5cm-wide backing extending beyond the edge (for easy securing).
Fold the turf edge backing downward to fit tightly against the base.
Mark positions every 30cm along the edge. Insert the turf wedge with the thin end facing the edge and the thick end facing the turf interior, between the backing and base.
Press the wedge gently to ensure full 贴合 (adhesion), then drive a turf nail 2cm away from the wedge into the base for double securing.
Fold the folded backing back into place to cover the wedge, completing edge reinforcement.
With Turf Nails: For edge reinforcement and seam securing, pair 1 wedge with 1 turf nail (2cm apart). The wedge fills gaps and levels, while the nail provides vertical securing—enhancing overall stability.
With Seam Tape: For seam gap filling, first insert the wedge under the seam to level, then apply seam tape over the seam. This avoids poor tape adhesion caused by uneven seams, improving waterproof sealing.
